Euston Park, Suffolk
Danco Marquee Hire provide the hospitality pavilion for the Longines FEI World Endurance Championships.
Danco Plc were approached to provide the Hospitality Structure at the Longines FEI World Endurance Championships held at Euston Park in Suffolk.
The Championships were officially opened by the Duke of Grafton, realising a family dream of hosting the event for the world’s fastest growing equestrian sport at his home.
A lavish opening ceremony was held at Euston Hall, near Thetford, Suffolk, where the Duke welcomed 153 athletes and crews from 38 nations. Over 2,000 guests including team members, crews and supporters who were also joined by UK Minister of Sport Hugh Robertson MP.
Euston has been home to the Dukes of Grafton for over 300 years and with their love of horse racing the third and fourth Dukes could often be seen in the parkland admiring the many successful horses they bred and trained.
The Euston Estate provides a stunning venue for the sporting occasion with a rich mixture of woods, arable land and forest tracks. Together with help from neighbouring landowners the organisers were able to create a 100 mile route with the start and finish at Euston Park, perfect for the many participants from all over the world.
Danco supplied a beautiful 25m x 50m structure which incorporated a full length covered balcony, solid glass window panels and our new balustrade system. Internally the marquee was fully lined in Ivory with a contrasting wood effect lino floor throughout.
