Blooming Marvellous Marquee!

Taunton’s annual flower show was a well-deserved success attracting well over 12,000 visitors.

Enjoying a rare glimpse of summer, the ‘Chelsea of the West’ maintained its traditional approach with a large floral marquee and the competitive marquee, which were both provided by Danco. These tents have been a centre piece of the show since its inauguration in 1866 and standards were said to be as high as ever. Everyone was treated to a wide range of gardening events, local food with the Band of the Corps of Royal Engineers providing musical entertainment – perfect for the English summer.

Danco marquee hire were pleased to provide a variety of marquees at this year’s show and look forward to working with Taunton Deane Horticultural and Floral Society in 2010.
