Marquee Hire at the Great British Cheese Festival

Once again Cardiff Council chose Danco marquee hire to provide nearly 2,000 sqm (6,560 sq ft) of marquee cover for the 2009 Great British Cheese Festival held on 26 & 27 September. Set within the grounds of Cardiff Castle the crowds were out in force for the event which enjoyed a spell of glorious September sunshine.

‘The Cheese Hall’ marquee is Britain’s biggest cheese market featuring over 400 British and Irish cheeses for visitors to see, taste and buy. A 30m x 15m structure with suspended floor formed the focal point of the festival, with guests queuing to indulge in a wide selection of cheese's amongst their fellow cheese lovers.

Visitors were also invited to take part in the World Cheese Tossing Championships, taste the best that Wales has to offer, or simply relax with a cool drink outside the Cardiff Arms marquee.
