Bristol was back in the fashion spotlight this week with when the Spring Fashion Show took to the Catwalk at The Mall Cribbs Causeway.
The Mall at Cribbs Causeway hosted Bristol Fashion weeks Spring Fashion show last week and the number of visitors showed the retail sector is in good health despite the hard economic climate.
The 390 guest arena for this year’s event moved onto the car park adjacent to the main entrance rather than spanning the water feature as in previous years. This move enabled the marquee to be built on cassette style suspended floor rather that the multi-floor platform that had been used for previous events.
This year’s event was presented by GMTV stylist Mark Heyes and celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton, the hour-long catwalk fashion shows taking place in the purpose built fashion pavilion in front of The Mall.

All the key trends for the new season were showcased along with hair, beauty and style tips. Fashions from more than 135 retailers will took to the catwalk ranging from John Lewis, French Connection, Jigsaw, Hobbs, Karen Millen to River Island, Miss Selfridge and Republic.
Ticket prices included refreshments from M&S on arrival as well as a goody bag full of treats. Ticket holders were also given an Event Guide that included pages of discount vouchers and special offers to use in the stores, cafes and restaurants in The Mall.

A dedicated Style Zone was set up on the upper level of The Mall featuring complimentary makeovers, mini manicures, colour advice and the chance to book a session with a personal shopper.
