In its first year at Ragley Hall the CLA Game Fair proves to be a great success, far exceeding the expectations of the Country Landowners and Business Association that run the event.
This year the CLA Game Fair, which usually tours between four established venues across central England, found a new home in Ragley Hall, deep in the heart of rural Warwickshire. The Hall, which dates back to 1680 provided the perfect back drop and the expansive grounds and undulating landscape allowed the show organisers the opportunity to design a new layout for the event.

The new location was clearly a hit with the public with enormous number of visitors attending the event which rivaled the record breaking event at Blenheim Palace.

The CLA Game Fair Director of Marketing and Show Development, Fiona Eastman, said, “We had 144,000 visitors, the highest number ever apart from our 50th year. The overriding sense was that trade was good and the exhibitors loved the location as it brought visitors from all over the country. Lord and Lady Hertford, who hosted the event, said they thoroughly enjoyed the three days.”
The show is a Mecca for gaming and country sports enthusiasts as well as an excellent family day out. With lots of hands on exhibits including fly fishing, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Rifle shooting, 4x4's, Quad biking and a whole host of trade stands.
Next years event will be taking place at Blenheim Palace and the event is highly recommended.
