Crick Boat Show Success

British Waterway's has gone through extensive restructuring since the 2009 show, and this year’s event is hosted by the new British Waterway's Trade Team in collaboration with Richmond Event Management.

The team see's extensive industry knowledge of the British Waterways combined with the experience of Richmond Event Management who look after events such as , Bristol 10k Run, Bristol Harbourside Festival, Danson Festival, Glasgow River Festival, Royal Navy Oman, Good Energy Fair and Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and both intend to increase the profile of the festival.

Danco marquee hire provide the event with a 60m x 25m exhibition hall, 45m x 12m seminar and bar marquees and numerous other structures including catering cover, exhibition stands, craft stalls and trader units, many of which utilise the dancone roof system, making the roof of the structure more attractive.

The British Waterways boat show has been running at Crick since 2000 and is usually held on Whitsuntide Bank Holiday Weekend - 10.00 to 18.00 Saturday and Sunday and 10.00 to 17.00 on the Monday.

There is plenty to see both inside the marquees and around the Marina with a tried and well tested layout with plenty of toilet facilities. With Crick being the place to see new narrow-boats and equipment. A popular feature is the Get Afloat Boat Trips - free.

Crick Boat Show Exhibitors include: Boat Builders, Boat Fitters, Brokerage, Cabin Equipment, Canal Craft Outlets, Canal Societies and Associations, Chandlery, Deck Equipment, Electrical Equipment, Engine Suppliers, Marine Insurance, Paints and Varnishes, Publications and Books, Shared Ownership and Training.
