Three Counties Show "best for a decade"

Three cheers for the Three Counties Show

This years Three Counties Show was attended by a staggering 98,000 people over a balmy weekend in June - a 10 year high in visitor numbers, showing that even in such trying financial conditions, the event is in good health and the public are still happy to attend agricultural shows. This years Three Counties Show event around 3,500 livestock entries (giving the organisers an awful lot of organic fertiliser for the roses!) and over six hundred trade stands. The Cider and Cheese Shows run as part of the larger show, and attracted all kinds of connoisseurs and aficionados to sample the regional and national produce.
Here’s a quote from the show’s website
“The Livestock lines were buzzing! The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery wowed the crowd with their cannons, horses and soldiers. The Ambridge village had a fantastic atmosphere and visitors enjoyed line dancing and listening to Al Boden singing while relaxing with a local beer. The Food & Drink Hall was very busy and traders enjoyed handing out free samples to passers by. Wyvern Radio put on a great World Cup Village with inflatable football pitches, music and face painting and the children were having a great time”.
Danco are delighted to be the sole provider of marquees provided by Three Counties Agricultural Society at the Three Counties Show and all events run by TCAS. Our Project management team work closely with the Showground team to ensure a well run and exciting event, each year working on innovative structures and feature areas. Plans for 2011 are already underway and see the show expanding yet again.
