The Bristol football season will end this weekend with a family friendly festival of football and celebrity football match all in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Organised by Coalpit Heath Football Club, the weekend long festival will kick off on Saturday 22nd May with a tournament for local under 7's, 8's, 9's, 10's & 11's. Under 12's, 13's & 14's will play on Sunday. The highlight of the festival is the celebrity football match which kick off at 3:30 on Saturday personalities from the world of football, rugby, boxing, broadcasting and acting.
Alistair Higgins, chairman of Coalpit Heath FC says, "This is our second Festival of Football which gives young players the chance to play the beautiful game in a relaxed family atmosphere and also raise lots of money for Caner Research UK. We look forward to welcoming local clubs from across the Bristol area and their supporters for a great weekend of football.
Danco marquee hire are providing a marquee 15m x 10m and several pop-up canopies to be used during the event. we are delighted to be able to help such a worth while cause and wish the club every success for the event and raising money for the charity.
