Year on year, Danco look forward to the UWE Graduation as we get to spend a week on-site at the stunning Bristol Cathedral. We’ve seen a few changes over the years, to the branded gable design mainly, but this year we got to see the clearspan marquee from above!

CLIMBING THE TOWER

Over 180 steps later a few of team Danco and some extras from our heating contractor, Haresign Heating, were standing on the roof of the cathedral looking down over our structure with panoramic views of College Green and Park Street!

GRAND CEREMONY

The 20m wide temporary structure offers a superb hospitality area for a drinks reception following the graduation ceremonies inside the cathedral and is directly linked to the building. Installing on listed flagstones in a public area, means our experienced crew have to take extra care whilst laying the floor.

Once we had made our way down from the tower, we got back to HQ and put together a short video showcasing our work for UWE, which you can see below. It includes a sneak peek inside too, which is easier said than done with the reflective glazed wall panels we install, to keep the student’s graduation private!
