It’s a well known fact that we can’t rely on a crisp white Christmas in our un-predictable climate, so what better way to ensure the perfect ice skating conditions, than to cover your real ice rink with our weather tight marquees?!

When the team behind Cardiff Winter Wonderland contacted us for a bespoke flooring system for their ice rink and a clear span marquee cover solution, we were happy to help.

COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY

If you are building a Winter Wonderland outside the stunning Civic Centre in the Welsh Capital, ideally you would be able to see the festive surroundings whilst tactically holding on to the rink barrier in style (we mean, skating gracefully along!)

The way to do this is to use our fully transparent marquee covers that span the full width of the roof and the gable ends, we can also provide glass window walls or panoramic clear PVC wall panels… the options are endless.

LIGHT IT UP

The clear ice rink cover also lends itself well to some expert lighting by our event management company contact and thousands of little fairy lights twinkle each evening, putting even the most Grinch like of skaters in the Christmas spirit!

The real ice rink and large event marquee are sat firmly on our solid flooring solution which is the first thing to be installed at the beginning of a week long build. Our Foreman Pete began the work with his crew whilst Autumn leaves were all around and by the time its opened to the public, it couldn’t feel more festive.
