The Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show is a most spectacular August Bank Holiday event in Surrey for the whole family.  The two-day countryside event is held on a showground the size of ten Wembley Stadiums and Danco have been the preferred marquee hire contractor for many years. The show combines all the favourites of a traditional agricultural show, with 21^st century family entertainment, rides, experiences and shopping.

BUILDING ON A LARGE SCALE

Last Friday, our Senior Foreman Paul Chant and his team headed off to Surrey to begin the 2 week build, which starts with an 80ft wide traditional marquee for the Horticultural Show. With everything from a small 6m structure for the Blacksmith’s, to the eye catching Union Jack cattle pavilions that cover over 3000 sqm, our crew have a varied install ahead of them.

11 DAYS TO GO…

Danco travel all over the U.K, providing temporary structures for festivals, shows and hospitality events, which means our staff are often away from home in our self-contained sleeper units. With 11 more days to go until the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show is live on 27th/28th August 2017, they will be working 7 days a week to get everything up safely. Although a few trips to the local curry house are likely also on the agenda!

EDENBRIDGE GOES LIVE!

As seen on BBC One’s ‘The Farmers’ Country Showdown’, Danco’s signature Union Jack gable ends were pride of place at the fantastic Edenbridge & Oxted Show in Surrey. The footage below shows these impressive 25m wide structures both externally as the cattle parade outside and internally as a huge variety of breeds await their moment! We’d love to know how many cows they fit inside over the weekend!
