Glorious British weather? Check. Stunning location at Hampton Court Palace? Check. More flowers and plants than you could ever count? Check. It must be time for the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show again!

ROWS OF ROSES

This year the organisers of the World’s biggest annual flower show wanted to make their event better than ever and Danco were on hand to accommodate their requirements. One of the biggest structure redesigns was the Festival of Roses marquee, which changed from a traditional pole tent to a 25m clearspan marquee. This gave the beautiful display gardens inside a lot more flexibility with regards to space and we installed a mesh gable to allow a flow of fresh air.

TAKING CENTRE STAGE

One marquee that really stands out on-site is the Celebrity Theatre, this 500 sqm space sits on 4m high legs in order to house a large stage for gardening royalty such as David Domoney, Charlie Dimmock and Chris Packham to appear on. With glass window wall panels and a transparent gable, the view of the palace is almost un-interrupted.

HAIRY BIKERS AMONG THE HATS

It’s not just gardening celebrities on site at this internationally renowned event, but foodie ones too. The Hairy Bikers have been cooking up a storm in amongst our Chinese hats, over 50 of them to be exact! We have a rage of 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m square hats available to cover everything from the plant village to a children’s play area.

All of this takes 3 weeks to install, and just a week to clear down, but where better to be in Britain in such unusually warm weather!
