It’s not every day you appear on TV… so Team Danco were very excited see one of our clearspan marquees appear on an episode of BBC‘s Celebrity MasterChef last weekend! Making sure the ‘grass is always greener’ with Danco

The episode which aired on the 1st September was filmed at Surrey County Cricket Club’s ground, the KIA Oval. As one of the most famous cricket grounds in the world, it made for a beautiful backdrop for the recent episode, whilst the Celebrity MasterChef contestants underwent their culinary challenge, catering for a large group of people.

Our 20m clearspan marquee was installed on the grounds for over three months to allow the players at the cricket club to train through the winter!

The transparent roofs and walls allowed the sunlight to reach the grass to keep it in pristine condition for when the warmer months (eventually) roll around.

For the KIA Oval, this was our primary concern, but we managed to successfully build and dismantle the marquee without issue.
