FRESH COFFEE & HOMEMADE CAKES

It’s fast becoming an annual tradition, the Danco Coffee Morning held on Friday was a success once again as we ate cake and joined together to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support on the famous national coffee morning.

Tempted by the lure of fresh coffee and multiple homemade cakes, staff from all departments descended on a Chinese hat at the main office and donated generously to the worthy charity. As well as playing ‘spot the cake’ in order to win a jar of prize honey from a colleague’s local hive, some indulged in door stop size slices of chocolate Guinness cake, lemon drizzle and coffee & walnut cake (we won’t name names…Shaun!).

Thank you to all our clients, suppliers and staff that attended, we more than doubled what we raised last year and it was clear everyone was supportive of Macmillan as a charity that’s close to our hearts.

We only hope to improve our fund-raising skills again next year, see you soon at Danco HQ!
