PARTY / CELEBRATION MARQUEE

PROJECT BRIEF:

Danco were asked to provide a marquee for over 250 guests for a fabulous party in the Cotswolds. The venue was an uneven field with good access, although as the event date had been set for the middle of December we were fully prepared for the weather and conditions during the build and removal.

SOLUTION:

After careful consideration and advice from our sales team, the client decided to have a main clearspan marquee of 25m x 37.5m to include a 25m round end reception area, stage, catering / kitchen area, toilets and bar. The entire marquee was installed on our fully suspended cassette flooring system which provided a dry and level base for the rest of the equipment that we supplied.

The marquee incorporated a variety of finishes with full blackout pvc walls and roof for the main dance/party area, while the round end showcased clear roof panels, solid glazed walls and doors.

It also featured two 6m chinese hats for an entrance porch area where photographers pictured the guests on arrival and departure.

The event which was held on one night was a combination of celebrations for a client who had very clear visions of their dream marquee requirements.

Following the launch of our Festival Marquee earlier in the year, our client was able to view the finished product at Badminton Horse Trials where the decision to utilise this clever marquee was made.

Over the following months the interior design for the party was decided upon and fine tuned until we were able to deliver exactly what the client had dreamed of.

Utilising an incredible lighting package the guests partied the night away to a disco and live music on a dazzling mirrored dance floor.
