PROJECT BRIEF:
The University of West England (UWE) contacted Danco to ascertain whether we could supply a hospitality marquee between Bristol Cathedral and the adjacent Cathedral School. The entire structure was to be placed on uneven listed flagstones and also extend over the terrace into a storage area over a metre below.
SOLUTION:
We were very pleased to offer a solution integrating two of our flooring systems giving a solid base to the marquee which is 35m x 20m in size. The marquee is linked directly to the Cathedral and offers a superb hospitality area for a drinks reception following the graduation ceremony.
The graduation ceremonies take place twice a year where we provide air conditioning for the summer and full heating for the winter event. With a fully lined and solid sided finish the marquee is a stunning addition to the venue and we are proud to be associated with the UWE for this and other events.
