“This year Danco joined our team for the Shrewsbury Flower Show, which is the oldest long running flower show in the world, as our contracted marquee provider.

This involvement requires the erection of our largest marquees, up to 30m, together with a number of other smaller units to be installed over a period of 3 weeks, as well as significant coordination with many other agencies and contractors. “We knew we wanted something quite unique and bespoke for our wedding reception marquee and knew that it would take an extra special marquee company to make our vision come alive. Our first meeting describing that we wanted a radial, glass end, with decking on the outside and with a glass ceiling above the dance floor, and all of this on a sloped verge, across a lake and Danco were not phased.

From design to construction, Danco gave us options, explained the art of the possible and put up with us changing our minds about certain features. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect end result – the marquee was truly stunning and looked incredible in white, gleaming for miles around. “In July 2018 Danco provided the marquee, plus additional tents for utilities, cloakroom etc, for our wedding party for 400 people at Badminton House. At every stage of proceedings I found them to be extremely efficient and attentive to our complicated and ever changing needs. Initial site visits, which began in early Spring, were followed up by thoughtful and accessible plans which were adapted over the months as the guest list expanded and my ideas for the interior became ever more ambitious. Even in the last week before the party, when due to the heatwave we suddenly required a cooling system, the Danco team were most obliging and helpful and the resulting success of the party and splendid look of the tent is a credit to their hard work.
